Colton is Ms. Frizzle!

So at school yesterday as the students were leaving. Ms. Frizzle (from the Magic School Bus) made an appearance. The kids LOVED it.  I got so many different responses from "why does she have a beard?" to "Mr. Henley is an ugly girl?" My favorite was a girl who was speechless who looked at me with a great amount of horror in her eyes.

World Series Game #3

Colton and Nancy went to the World Series Game #3.  This is the game that will forever be remembered as it ended with the "obstruction" call at 3rd base.  Classic comment was the guy behind us saying "Walk off Trip!".  What a thrill to be at the World Series!

It's time for basketball . . .

McKendree opened their exhibition season against the University of Illinois in Champaign on Thursday night.  They lost the game but Matt had a blast.  There was a large hometown crowd to cheer Matthew on in his first game - he shot and made a free throw.  As a freshman he was thrilled to get playing time.  Lori, Rod, Marlin and Carolyn were at the game.

This picture was in the paper in Champaign/Decatur
