432, 303, 81

432 pieces of bacon, 303 sausage links, countless pancakes and that is what I know we did last Sunday at the Pancake bfast at Maryland Heights! The best number is 81 and that is the number of bags of groceries we collected for Community Helping Ministries! Thanks to everyone who helped, ate and brought food! J.D. and Jimmy were the sausage chefs - don't make me explain this picture!
Jeff and Diane were at one of the pancake stations!

Monticello Moments

Marlin and Carolyn made a quick run Friday up to Monticello for Matt's last official game of the season (JV doesn't go to playoffs but he will still be dressing for varsity) The bonus was that Jake and Kelsey were also in Monticello for the weekend. This was Mom and Dad's first opportunity to meet Kelsey! Grandma had the camera out and everyone was posing :) Matt has to wear a shirt and tie to school on game day and then to game! Isn't he handsome?
Kelsey is a little "dwarfed" by the Kruse guys!

Early Valentines

Today the Divas gathered for an early Valentine lunch at our home. We enjoyed good food, good laughs and shared memories of our days together at Rose Acres school.

It is all about HOOPS for Matthew

Matt is a freshman at Monticello High School. He is playing JV ball as a starter and dressing for Varsity. Aunt Nancy, Eric, Kyle, Grandma and Grandpa were there last Friday and Saturday for games - the JV won both of their games. UPDATE: Grandma and Grandpa are still in Monticello and the JV won big tonight and Matt played in the varsity game and they won also! Matt is an excellent free throw shooter!

A fierce competitor!
Their coach has them dress at school on game days and they wear a shirt/tie onthe bus and back home from their games!

GO SAGES - GO MATT! We are all rooting for you!

It was time . . . .

for a new family photo! This was taken in 1995 at Mom and Dad's house. We haven't had another formal picture of all of us until Thanksgiving Day 2009. Do you think we have changed just a little!?! What handsome young men the little boys from above have become!
