SCW Wins Big in Basketball!

Tonight in the semi-finals of district play St. Charles West won big over district rival St. Charles High. The scoreboard says it all:

It is a blast to see what the SCW students will come up with for each basketball game. They are creative, vocal, loyal, and a blast to watch! Tonight they came with a beach theme - their motto was "Playing High is as much fun as a day at the Beach"! I wish I hadn't been across the gym so I would have had a closer shot of the student section. They never sit down! Good Luck to the Warriors as they play Duchesne in the district championship game tomorrow night (Friday)!

4th Picture Tag

Angie "tagged" me and this was a manageable item for me to do! Here are the directions:

1. Go to where you store your digital photos and open the 4th folder.
2. Post the 4th picture in that folder.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag 4 people.

And here is my picture - - - -
This is in Georgetown, Colorado. This picture was taken from the Georgetown Steam Railroad - note the beautiful golden aspens. October 2006.

I tag : JD , Connie Horton, Ed Tritschler, Andrea Huffmaster

Matt goes to Valpo

Matt was invited to go to Valpo (IN) on Sunday. Lori, Rod and Matt headed over for a basketball game. Matt and Rod visited with the coaches and got a tour of their facilities. Good times for a guy who loves basketball!

Happy Valentine's Day

Each year on Valentine's Day Carolyn fixes a Valentine meal - spaghetti, salad, bread, heart shaped red jello jigglers, and heart shaped brownies. This year we ate at lunch time (Colton had to go to work at 5 pm). Happy Valentine's Day!

This is the Valentine that Marlin made for his "sweetheart" of 51 years! Sweethearts for 24 Valentine's Days!

Cropping at i-Brook

This past weekend Carolyn, Carla and Nancy joined their friends Carol and Suzanne at their home at Innsbrook for a weekend of cropping. We had a wonderful time with dear friends (Suzanne we are going to miss you when you move this spring!) We did take a "field trip" on Saturday to a scrapbook store in Warrenton (you never have too much paper)! Thanks Carol and Suzanne for hosting us. Carla and I were very productive as we completed 77 pages (12x12) and Mom has almost finished her Disney book (when we all went in 1998). So much fun looking at all the pics of everyone.
