Our Season of Baseball has Begun!

The first game for the Henley family was April 17th. It was Church of Christ day at the ballpark and wow did we get baseball . .that was th 20 inning game. We lasted until the bottom of the 16th. Eric announced to those around us (we knew all of them) that they should be happy for extra innings because it is free baseball!
I love this picture because it looks like they are on a roller coaster!

You could go to Hallmark but . . .

A couple of weekends ago our card making group gather at Innsbrook or iBrook as I call it. We made a whole bunch of cards (maybe you'll get one!) We stayed at Carol Chaney's home and had a fabulous time - thanks Carol. Debra, Carol, Carolyn, Carla Back row : Nancy and DiAnn
It was Debra's birthday so we celebrated with angel food cake and fresh strawberries.
Carol and Carla hard at work!

We each came up with designs to share with the group.

We went to dinner on Saturday night at the clubhouse - we traveled by golf cart!
We might have been able to buy cards for less and quicker at Hallmark but this was so much more fun!

The Tail of the Pale Pink Dragon

This last week Eric has been very busy with the SCW Players. He worked building the set for the spring play and then as a stage hand. They had 3 fulls shows and 4 matinees in the last week. It was a fun production.
The backdrop was beautiful - it was all done with tissue paper (poked through chicken wire!)

Way to go Eric!

Here's How it Rolls . . . . . .!

Easter Sunday we have an egg hunt (more like a roll) out on the front lawn of the church building. We have been doing this since Colton was a tiny guy. Here are a few pics of some of my favorites . . . .! Gracie Girl
Lexi and Kyle (you can see from the basket we didn't lack for eggs!)
Kalista (looking oh so chic)!
Ike (as I like to call him)!
Jake, Eric, Kyle and Nate - the "hiders"! They had Shayne and Jeff helping them also. Colton had to go to work and Kyle was teaching in busy bee!

Family Easter Times!

Sunday afternoon we celebrated Easter at our house. We had Mom's traditional Easter picnic meal and it was yummy. JD's family was here (Colton had to work), Susan and Mark's family, Aunt Carol and Uncle Mike and Tom and Carol Chaney. Jake is away at NIU and Matthew was playing in a basketball tourney in Milwaukee. We had an egg hunt for the Ward kiddos - they loved it! Luke was in high gear go mode!
Reagin checking out her eggs!
Jack was playing a scratch off!

Katy was hunting her eggs!

Mom made a real Easter tree!

Grandpa had written a clue and the "big" guys found a bag of eggs for them (they love what they are filled with!)

Kyle's was about being a packer fan and Grandpa had hung his bag from a fan in the house!
