It is all about HOOPS for Matthew

Matt is a freshman at Monticello High School. He is playing JV ball as a starter and dressing for Varsity. Aunt Nancy, Eric, Kyle, Grandma and Grandpa were there last Friday and Saturday for games - the JV won both of their games. UPDATE: Grandma and Grandpa are still in Monticello and the JV won big tonight and Matt played in the varsity game and they won also! Matt is an excellent free throw shooter!

A fierce competitor!
Their coach has them dress at school on game days and they wear a shirt/tie onthe bus and back home from their games!

We just got this picture - it is his NCAA First Team Summer Conference Picture - these are the freshman guys. He has been selected for this to be a mentor athlete. He will participate all through high school.
GO SAGES - GO MATT! We are all rooting for you!

It was time . . . .

for a new family photo! This was taken in 1995 at Mom and Dad's house. We haven't had another formal picture of all of us until Thanksgiving Day 2009. Do you think we have changed just a little!?! What handsome young men the little boys from above have become!

Saying Goodbye to the Moody's

Today we said good-bye to our friends Bill and Sherri Moody. Bill and Sherri have been the caretakers at Camp Ne-O-Tez for 20 years. They are "retiring" to Arizona. At Maryland Heights we had a reception for them today! We had over 300 people come to say good-bye. Bill and Sherri

The room - we are making a memory book and gave them a money tree!
Carla is a treasure - I don't know what I would do without her help in so many activities!

J.D. was a huge help - he kept stocking the money tree - thanks to him for the pics of the day.

Kyle, Eric and Jimmy with the Moody's - Colton had to work.

Mom and Dad with Bill and Sherri - friends for many years.

Dad had changed the sign with a special message!
