Eric's Spring Break

Eric and I spent the afternoon together today.  We started out at J Buck's and then made the short trek over to Busch Stadium Team Store.  Wow- the new golden uniforms and shirts were out.  They were selling the $329 gold letter jerseys (no we didn't purchase).  Eric was a huge help with running around later for the Camp dinner.  What a blessing these spring break days have been.

Kyle's Spring Break

Kyle and I started off our afternoon by having lunch at Mike Shannon's.  Neither of us had ever been there and it was a neat experience.  Kyle ordered a burger that was huge!  We walked around Busch stadium, shopped the team store and took a few pictures.  We finshed off the day with Kyle helping me get ready for the "Bird and the Word" dinner at Maryland Heights.  We can't wait for Cardinal baseball!!!!!!!!!!

Matt's NHS Induction

Congratulations to Matthew on his induction into the Monticello High School's chapter of the National Honor Society.  So proud of him and Eric both being members of NHS!

Remembering Paul . . .

Paul Allen Dehnbostel would have been 50 years old today!  That is hard to imagine as he has been gone since 1982.  Paul is the son of Aunt Joyce (Carolyn's sister).  He loved life! This is a picture of him in his Christopher Bearcats football uniform (note he is wearing the same number as his Uncle Marlin).  Paul was a great Cowboys fan and oh the rivalry and jokes with him and JD/Dad!  Paul loved Camp Ne-O-Tez and was baptized at camp! The fun he had as we would approach Christopher and he could call for us on the CB radio - long before cellphones!  Paul, you are not forgotten. 

Colton's Spring Break

Colton is on spring break from Harding this week. Today Aunt Nancy and him spent the day together.  We started out at Drummond Elementary where we visited with his 1st and 2nd grade teachers.  Colton is an elementary Ed major. Then did our traditional trip to Gus's pretzels and Busch Stadium. Finished up the day with working on a unit for one of his classes and Buffalo Wild Wings with his brothers.

Arch Madness - Saturday Semi Finals

Spent the day at the Missouri Valley Conference Basketball tournament.  The games are good and the fans are a blast!  We had a great time getting March Madness started!

Missouri Valley Conference - Arch Maddness

Colton is coming home for Spring Break, Matt is coming for the weekend, Kyle and Eric are here and we are getting started with the crazy days of March by spending Saturday at the MVC Tournament! Let the games begin!
