March Madness - Family Style
Matthew and a friend, Ryan are here for a few days during their spring break (they came to work on an 8th grade art project - another post). Today we were joined by Colton, Kyle and Eric. Tonight after dinner they had a one on one tournament complete with a bracket! Bring on the weekend for more tourney fun!

You could go to Hallmark . . .
but this is much more fun. Saturday Carolyn, Carla, Carol, Debra and DiAnn got together to make cards. This time we tried a new method of each person coming with 2 ideas and the stuff for us each to make 2 of those cards. We had a great day at Debra's making cards, laughing and enjoying lunch together. Maybe you will be a lucky one to receive one of these cards for a special occasion.

Big Ten Tournament - Matt and Indy Heat!
Marlin and Carolyn went to watch Matt play on his Indy Heat (Nike) basketball team this past weekend in Indianapolis. Matt's team got a win on Sat morning so that gave them the afternoon off - - - - well, the Big 10 tournament was in Indy so off they went to see if they could get seats. They got seats and were able to go to two games. Marlin said this was a life goal! They had a great time even if Illinois lost. Matt's team went 3 - 1 for their tourney. We love March Madness!

Breakfast and Bible!
Marlin teaches the college age class at Maryland Heights on Sunday morning. They are finishing up their series on the book of Proverbs. In lieu of a final exam, Marlin and Carolyn had them for breakfast and a wrap up of Proverbs this morning at our house before worship. Carolyn made homemade cinnamon rolls and other yummies! What a great group of kids!

SCW Warrriors roll into Quarter Finals!
Jefferson City High School was the the place to be tonight for great high school basketball. The game started with Moberly going ahead 0 - 1 and that was the last time they lead . .they pulled within 3 points but SCW marched on to a 54 - 40 victory. The students for both sides were loud and loyal to their teams. This was a rematch of last year's sectional game and SCW was victorious again. Moberly team came out in shirts that said unfinished business - that revved the SCW students to a fever pitch. JD, Carla, Colton, Eric and Nancy drove to the game and Kyle went on the student bus (they took 3). We had a great time.
The SCW students went for a "maroon out"!
Coach Terry Hollander is an amazing coach. #5 Brian Grotte is my favorite player!
Next game - Saturday, 1 pm at Lindenwood College - GO SCW!
