Jefferson City High School was the the place to be tonight for great high school basketball. The game started with Moberly going ahead 0 - 1 and that was the last time they lead . .they pulled within 3 points but SCW marched on to a 54 - 40 victory. The students for both sides were loud and loyal to their teams. This was a rematch of last year's sectional game and SCW was victorious again. Moberly team came out in shirts that said unfinished business - that revved the SCW students to a fever pitch. JD, Carla, Colton, Eric and Nancy drove to the game and Kyle went on the student bus (they took 3). We had a great time.The SCW students went for a "maroon out"!
Coach Terry Hollander is an amazing coach. #5 Brian Grotte is my favorite player!
Next game - Saturday, 1 pm at Lindenwood College - GO SCW!
