The "Mother Church" of Country Music

Thursday nights at the Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, TN is Opry Classic.  It is a variety of artists playing the songs that made the Opry famous. Here it is all about the music and songs.  The show was fantastic. The sound in the Ryman is amazing.  Dad first went to the Grand Ole Opry in 1948 with his parents.  It's a family tradition!  We enjoyed dinner before at our favorite Jack's BBQ!

At the front doors where you used to enter.  Dad waited in line down this sidewalk in college for tickets.

Tootsies Orchid Lounge where the Opry "stars" would hang out before and after the shows. You could walk out the stage door of the Ryman and across the alley to the back door of Tootsies.

Early before the show!
